The European Association for Communication in Healthcare (EACH) organised the 12^th International Conference on Communication in Healthcare (ICCH) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. From the 28^th of September to the 1^st of October 2014, people from all over the world came together for what was a wonderful conference.

On 14^th July, I got the opportunity to attend The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) UK semi-final at the University of York. I had the chance to see 23 PhD-students showcase themselves in a three minute presentation, using one single static slide with no additional electronic media or props.
